Aris Terms of Use

2. Eligibility and Use of the Service

You may use Aris only if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable law and are able to form a binding agreement. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Account and Access

Certain features may require an account or authentication through supported sign-in methods. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, except where caused by our own acts or omissions.

4. Health Data and Connected Services

Aris may allow you to connect Apple Health / HealthKit and other supported data sources. By granting access, you instruct us to process authorized data for purposes such as synchronization, visualization, summaries, AI guidance, and proactive messaging.

You remain responsible for the permissions you choose to grant and may revoke permissions through your device or platform settings where available.

5. AI Features and No Medical Advice

Aris may provide AI-generated summaries, insights, recommendations, or reminders. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Aris in a way that violates any law or regulation.
Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of the service.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or other users' information.
Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the service except as permitted by law.
Use the service to transmit harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing material.

7. Intellectual Property

Aris and its associated software, design, branding, and content, excluding content you provide, are owned by Andrartis or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Aris, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the service. By using Aris, you grant us a limited license to host, process, store, reproduce, and transmit your content solely as needed to provide, maintain, and improve the service and related features.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Aris at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features may change over time.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Aris if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required for operational, legal, or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.

We disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and reliability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Andrartis and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of Aris.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Aris after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
